Cippenham, located near Slough, is a suburban area that is surrounded by other towns and villages such as Beaconsfield, Farnham Common, Burnham, Gerrards Cross, Stoke Poges, Windsor, and Taplow.
Historically, Cippenham was a part of the parish of Burnham in the county of Buckinghamshire. However, in 1930, it was transferred to Slough and subsequently became a part of Berkshire in 1974.[1] On 1st April 1998, Berkshire County Council and the 1973-1998 Borough were abolished, and Slough became a unitary authority.
